Kaliptus (Born April 16, 1984 in Lisbon, Portugal) is a NY/NJ graduate artist from SVA with a BFA in animation and an MFA in computer art. He uses painting, film, motion graphics, animation, stop-motion, video-mixing, multimedia, interactive arts, installations and more to express ideas that are usually surreal, visionary and vital to the philosophies and understandings of the human consciousness. Kaliptus has been commissioned to work on projects for Alex Grey, Marvel, Stephen King, DC Comics, Black Tide, MTV, Prudential Center, Zoomdout, Shpongle, Sneaux, Orange County Choppers, American Choppers, and more. And YES, Mr. Obama has been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize, yay! I absolutely agree.
I am hoping for peaceful solutions inspired by the respectfulness he has in his approach for
solving conflicts.
He has a greater vision for a planet that needs to come together in our common challenges. Even though he has to respond to the big money industries in the US. Our true commanders. I am excited to watch the diplomatic process.

I have been campaigning in a grass roots style for Obama to be elected for president,
putting my painted images of him onto each hat,
now I am communicating with his image to say

I am so proud of the degree of progress America has come to, having witnessed so many times
